When I started training with Verna (about one year ago) I was in poor health, going through perimenopausal and other issues. I had low energy levels that were affecting every aspect of my life. Verna eased me back into exercising with a carefully planned program that has helped me with increased energy, core and cardiovascular strength. My health has improved in every way and I have been losing excess weight and inches. One of the best results is increased optimism through a feeling of well-being. ![]() I used to believe that only making it to the gym once a week just wasn't enough--and if I couldn't make more of a commitment, what was the use? But I have found that working out once a week with Verna has been so rewarding that it encourages me to fit other activities into my life. My workouts have had a snowball effect--for example, I'm now finding that, where I once drove, now I'll take the time to walk or bike. I always look forward to going to "the gym" and really have fun at The Garage. I'm working towards getting there more often as I've never had the kind of results that I'm getting now!
