Verna, a BCRPA Certified Personal Trainer, has been strength training for over 20 years. After many years of participation in sports ranging from tennis, swimming, biking, running and basketball, to kayaking and rock climbing, Verna became interested in strength training as a way to prevent injury and to keep in shape in the “off-season” and has since become a keen advocate of the benefits of strength training and enjoys helping others realize their fitness goals.
